Introduction

Welcome to the Airdrie Baptist Bible Institute! We are delighted you have chosen to begin or continue your faith journey and theological education with us. This orientation document is designed to provide you with essential information to help you make the most of your experience at our institute.

Our Mission

The mission of Airdrie Baptist Bible Institute is to equip students with a solid biblical foundation, spiritual maturity, and practical ministry skills. We are committed to fostering a Christ-centred learning environment that encourages personal growth, academic excellence, and a heart for service in the local church to the world.

Core Values

·      Biblical Authority: We uphold the King James Bible as the inspired Word of God and the final authority for faith and practice.

·      Spiritual Growth: We encourage students to develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ through prayer, worship, and Bible study.

·      Service: We believe in putting faith into action through outreach, missions, and local ministry opportunities.

Academic Overview

Courses at Airdrie Baptist Bible Institute are designed to provide an understanding of Scripture, theology, church history, and practical ministry. Assessment methods include written assignments, reading, presentations, and exams.

Student Expectations

·      Attendance: Regular attendance is expected for all classes, church services and special conferences. One excused absence and one unexcused absence will be allowed for each course.

·      Participation: Engage actively in discussions

·      Academic Integrity: All work submitted must be your own and it must be turned in on time.

·      Modesty: All students of ABBI must behave with modest behaviour and dress standards. This will be required at all church functions, ministries, and classes unless otherwise stated by the pastor.

o   Men must wear dress pants and dress shirts with a tie.

o   Ladies must wear knee length or longer skirts and appropriately modest tops.

o   No hats will be allowed in class.

·      Ministry: All students will participate at least one hour a week in a Gospel outreach ministry. Every student should be seeking for a regular church ministry to serve in.
